We believe that our bodies and brains are designed to thrive! Our bodies want to be healthy – all they need is to be given the foods they were designed to eat, and a lifestyle that reflects our human heritage. Health isn’t about rules or deprivation, nor is it about “hacking” the system – it is about aligning our diets and behaviors with the human genes that we have inherited from our ancient ancestors. We are meant to be strong, active foragers and hunters, so let’s live that way!
Self-Determination
Ultimately, your health is your responsibility. Doctors and coaches are here to help you, but at the end of the day, the decisions you make are up to you. This can be scary, but it is also empowering! No matter how long your health has suffered, you are able to take proactive steps to start improving and getting your ancestral vitality back!
Client-Coach Relationship
A health coach is not a doctor – I don’t diagnose or treat diseases. I don’t “fix” a “broken” person. Rather, I help educate you and act as your partner on your health journey by giving you the tools to tap into your body’s own wisdom and set goals and learn how to hold yourself accountable! You’ve probably heard the saying about parenting “You’re not raising them to be good kids, you’re raising them to be good adults”. It’s the same with coaching – the goal is not a lifelong customer, it’s a self-motivating, self-directing person who can set their own goals and hold themselves accountable!
